Returning Residents must visit the website at Jamaica Customs Agency – Country Above Self (argusservices.in) and log onto the Returning Residents Portal (insert link to portal). Returnee will be asked to complete Registration and Application Forms and submit the relevant documents from the following:
- Valid Jamaican Passport or foreign passport that is endorsed with the unconditional landing stamp; and
- Proof of local address in Jamaica; and/or
- Last three (3) years tax returns accompanied with 1040, W2/1099, T4, P60 or any other document deemed appropriate by the relevant authority; or
- Tax Return Transcript from the relevant authority; or
- Letter of separation from employer, outlining duration of employment on the company’s letter head, stamped and signed; or
- Current retirement papers/ pension advice/social security letter; or
- Notarised letter confirming residence abroad for the last 3 years; or
- Letter from the Consulate and work permits for the last 3 years; or
- Deportation Order/Case File;
- Letter from Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA);
- Death Certificate/Letter from Notary Public substantiating death; or
- Any other document to substantiate residency abroad.
